Hey there, everyone! I (Rebecca) need to start off with an apology. Our podcast, this blog, and all social media posts, are (obviously) delayed this week. I’m getting ready for my mother/daughter road trip with Abigail and fell behind. I have handed the keys to the blog and socials over to Hannah Belle for the next week or two (once I post this). So NO SPOILERS GUYS!! She’s been so careful to avoid all spoilers so she can enjoy each episode of 90210 fresh. Anyhow, thanks for sticking with us, even when I drop the ball. 😬
By the way, if you have suggestions of must see places on the northern Oregon coast, let me know ASAP! We have some flexibility on our trip and don’t want to miss anything great! We learned why there are episodes missing from streaming, thanks to one of Rebecca’s favorite podcasts, Beverly Hills 90210 Show. Take a listen to this episode of theirs for the inside scoop! https://audioboom.com/posts/7851730-9-oh-news-ep-24 Ok, on to this week’s discussion of 90210. This was an interesting one for us. We weren’t huge fans of one of the main storylines, but despite that we still enjoyed this episode! Plot A was all about Brenda, Andrea, and the dramatics that occur with them. They’re reaching the end of their acting class, and the girls are paired up for their final scene project. They’re both working hard to do their best, but they’re also working to try and impress their teacher, Mr. Suiter. Soon that desire to impress turns in the direction of romance, and they start to fight over the attention of “Call me Chris” Mr. Suiter. We felt a little icky about this plot line, but it ended up bringing the girls even closer together, so in the end it wasn’t all that bad for either of them! Story B was about Brandon, and the major purchase of his beloved ‘65 yellow Mustang. It’s a bit of an ordeal with Jim attempting to offer help at first, and when Brandon refuses the help and tries it on his own, and shenanigans come about that make this purchase a little more complicated. The car has problems, and Brandon is extremely disappointed that he’s already going to have to put even more money into the car. It all ends positively, but you’ll have to listen to the episode to see for yourself exactly how that plays out! This was a blast to talk about, despite the discomfort with Plot A and the girls. What are your thoughts? Do you think the girls were being overdramatic? Do you agree with how Brandon chose to go about his car purchase? What do you give this episode on the Peach Scale? Let us know what you think! We’d love to hear from you! Thanks for listening! Hannah Belle’s Rating: 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑 Rebecca’s Rating: 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑 |
